Observation Link to heading

Following a job transition and prolonged stress exposure (approx. 3 years), multiple physical and behavioral regressions were observed:

  • Poor mind body connection
  • Restlessness and laziness
  • Poor body shape and underconfidence
  • Overweight 89.9kgs
  • Poor diet

Experiment Link to heading

The experiment focused on environmental restriction + nutritional precision + structured resistance training.

  • New company and less job stress compare to previous
  • PG group circle was not there so overall social gathering in weekends is reduced based on 2 points.
  • Better chance for sleep
  • Already habitual for early rise at 5 am
  • No friends or family or interuption
  • Good trainer

I had my gym training every morning from 6am to 7:30am . Plan was Body Recomposition that is weight loss and muscle training as well ,and it had different phases

What changed in my thinking Link to heading

Initial Assumptions Link to heading

  • Carbs rich food is healthy and only option
  • Gym trainer won’t help much
  • You can do body recomposition while being socially active in weekends
  • Doing cardio is only enough and long term solution

Revised Conclusions After 12 Weeks Link to heading

  • Cut down Carbs and sugars and replace them with proteins , fats rich food
  • Take social activeness close to 0 in 3 months phase or to least possible value
  • Stick to single pattern of activites for 3 months so that brain and body balance can happen properly else it can break even in if a random old activitiy like craving food or not going gym is done 1-2 times . Cause recovering will be tough from there
  • Control and track sleep
  • Workout is Gym - Diet - Recovery , so it should be consistent and predicable and no in between disruption like cheat meal , late night weekend sleep , gym skip.
  • Invest on trainer even it looks expensive but its investment and treat it that way only
  • Focus on weight training more and more and try to reduce cardio as goal is to increase Base metabolism rate of the body rather then only weight loss

Post-Protocol Status (March 2026) Link to heading

After ending with trainer I have been doing workout on my own and also with few known people in gym for support during workouts and share plans.

Now in March 3 2026 Link to heading

  • My weight is 76 kgs
  • Visible muscle tonned up
  • No bloating due to protein rich food
  • Take protien powder and creaiten
  • Better motivation , mind body connection
  • Now I’m social and do in weekends eat in gathering or with friends.
  • Strong Base metabolism rate weights fluctate very less now even after cheat meals
  • Improved recovery rate
  • Social confidence and better outfits
  • Now 45 mins of daily gym , weight training only and 5 days workout . During weekend casual walking , jogging in garden
  • Effortless routine

Open questions Link to heading

  • How to check when the diet plan needs change ?
  • What are the symptoms of plateau and does only weight measuring can help when we have muscle mass growing and fat reducing ?
  • I had a consistent schedule with many factors perfect and in 3 months results and habit was set will this also work if there is disruption in the process ? If so then for what predictable time one goes back ?

Future direction Link to heading

Will be keeping gym as part of lifestyle . As it takes less time also has better yield compared to cardio. And foucs on below :-

  • Progressive Overload Tracking (Monthly Review)
  • Cyclical Caloric Adjustment to Avoid Metabolic Plateau
  • Change weight exercises in month to avoid muscle stagnantion
